How long does it take to memorize the full Quran?
It depends on the student’s age, daily commitment, and natural ability. Children studying 5 days a week often complete Hifz in 2–3 years. Adults with less time typically take 3–5 years. Consistent daily practice is the single biggest factor.
Do I need to have good Tajweed before starting Hifz?
You should be able to read the Quran with basic correctness before starting Hifz, so you do not memorize mistakes. If your Tajweed needs improvement first, we can combine Tajweed and Hifz preparation in the same program.
Can adults memorize the Quran?
Yes — absolutely. Many adults have memorized the complete Quran. The process takes longer than for children, but it is entirely possible with consistent daily effort. Many of our adult students have successfully completed their Hifz.
How many classes per week are needed for Hifz?
We recommend a minimum of 5 classes per week for Hifz. Daily teacher contact helps maintain momentum, catch mistakes early, and keep revision on track. However, even 3 classes per week with strong independent practice can work.
