Learn Tafsir Online | Quranic Explanation Classes
What is Tafsir of the Quran?
Tafsir is the detailed explanation and interpretation of the Quran. It helps you understand the deeper meaning behind every verse — why it was revealed, what it means in Arabic, and how to apply it in your daily life. Without Tafsir, you may be able to read the Quran but you will miss its true message.
At Arabic Quran Teacher, we offer structured online Tafsir classes taught by certified Islamic scholars with ijazah in Tafsir. Whether you are a beginner or already have a basic understanding of Arabic, our Tafsir course is designed for you.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before enrolling.
What is Tafsir and how is it different from translation?
Translation converts Quranic Arabic into another language. Tafsir is a detailed scholarly commentary explaining the meaning, historical context (Asbab al-Nuzul), linguistic nuances, and rulings derived from each verse. Tafsir gives you a much deeper understanding.
Do I need to know Arabic to study Tafsir online?
Basic Arabic reading is helpful but not required. Our online Tafsir classes are taught in English, so you can understand the explanations fully without being fluent in Arabic.
Which scholars’ Tafsir do you teach from?
We primarily teach from Tafsir Ibn Kathir, one of the most respected classical commentaries, as well as insights from contemporary scholars. We present the material in an accessible way for modern students.
Can I study just a specific Surah or Juz rather than the entire Quran?
Yes. We offer focused Tafsir study of individual Surahs (e.g., Surah Yaseen, Surah Al-Kahf) or specific topics from the Quran. You do not have to commit to a full Tafsir course to benefit from our classes.
Is a free trial Tafsir class available?
Yes! Book a free trial Tafsir class to meet your teacher and experience our teaching approach. No payment or commitment is required for the free trial session.
