Online Quran Classes for Sisters — Female Teachers Only
Learn Quran online with certified female Arab teachers — private one-on-one sessions, fully flexible scheduling, for sisters across the USA and Canada.

Learning with a Female Teacher Is Your Right
For many Muslim sisters, learning Quran from a male teacher is not comfortable — and that is completely valid. Islam recognizes the importance of modesty and appropriate boundaries in education. At Arabic Quran Teacher, we have a dedicated team of certified female Arab Quran teachers who work exclusively with sisters.
This is not an afterthought or a limited option. Our female teachers hold the same Ijazah certifications, the same Al-Azhar-level credentials, and the same years of teaching experience as our male faculty. You receive the same quality of education — in an environment that feels right for you.
What You Can Learn with Our Female Teachers
Quran Reading (Noorani Qaida + Quran)
Start from absolute zero and learn to read the Quran in Arabic. Your teacher begins with the Noorani Qaida — a structured phonics-based curriculum covering all 28 Arabic letters, vowel sounds, and reading fundamentals. Most adult sisters complete the Noorani Qaida in 4–8 weeks with consistent sessions, then move into reading the Quran directly.
Tajweed Rules (Correct Recitation)
Tajweed is the set of rules that govern correct Quranic pronunciation — the way the Prophet Muhammad recited, passed down through an unbroken chain of transmission. Your female teacher introduces Tajweed rules gradually as they appear in your reading, making them feel natural rather than overwhelming.
Quran Memorization (Hifz)
If your goal is to memorize the Quran — whether specific Surahs for daily prayer or the entire 30 Juz — our female teachers are experienced in structured Hifz programs. Memorization sessions combine new memorization (sabaq) with daily revision (murajaah) to ensure what you memorize stays retained long-term.
Islamic Studies for Sisters
Our female teachers also offer Islamic Studies sessions — covering Aqeedah, Fiqh (including rulings specific to women such as prayer during menstruation, Hijab, and family matters), Tafseer, and Seerah. These can be scheduled alongside Quran classes or as a standalone course.
Who Are Our Female Teachers?
- Ijazah Certified — each teacher holds an Ijazah certifying their recitation traces back through an unbroken chain of transmission to the Prophet Muhammad
- Native Arabic Speakers — Arabic is their mother tongue, not a learned language
- Formally Educated — many graduated from Al-Azhar University in Cairo or equivalent Islamic institutions
- Experienced with Western students — regularly work with sisters from the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia
- Experienced with reverts — many specialize in working with new Muslims, understanding the unique journey of learning Islam as an adult convert

Sisters Who Especially Benefit from Our Classes
Busy mothers — our sessions fit into nap times, school runs, and evenings. Many of our most dedicated students are mothers who learn while their children sleep or during school hours.
Working sisters — early morning and late evening slots are specifically available for sisters who work full-time. You will always find a time that works.
New Muslims (Reverts) — our female teachers provide a warm, patient, and judgment-free environment to begin your Quran journey from absolute zero.
Sisters who grew up Muslim but never learned to read — many of our students memorized Surahs by sound as children but never learned to read Arabic script. Our structured approach fills that gap quickly and without shame.
Sisters preparing for Ramadan — a focused 2–3 month program before Ramadan can make a significant difference in how much Quran you can recite and understand independently.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know I will be assigned a female teacher?
When you register for the free trial, you simply indicate that you require a female teacher. We guarantee your assigned teacher will be female — confirmed before your first session, not after.
I am a complete beginner who has never read Arabic. Can I still enroll?
Absolutely. We specifically design our beginner track for sisters with zero Arabic reading experience. Your teacher starts with the very basics — the shapes and sounds of individual Arabic letters — and builds from there. No prior knowledge of any kind is required.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — we offer a free 3-day trial with no credit card required. You meet your female teacher, experience the curriculum, and decide whether to continue. There is no pressure and no obligation.
